A note from John

We have over 1,100 players this season, the most I've had since taking over a few years ago. This league is awesome! I hope your son or daughter has a great time playing this season.

Thank you to our commissioners and coaches, all of whom volunteer their time, for making this such a great league. And thanks to Mrs. Billen, who continues to let me do this volunteer job each season!

    Game-day info

    Rule of the week

Whoever takes the snap from the center is the quarterback. The quarterback can't run across the line of scrimmage, even after taking a lateral back from someone else. The quarterback can go out for a pass and be a receiver, as long as the catch is beyond the line of scrimmage.

    Referees

Our refs are 7th graders through high schoolers who passed a rules test with an 86 or higher. Please be kind to them. Head refs carry red and yellow cards and can issue them to any player, coach or parent.

    Questions on the field

Coaches are welcome to ask refs questions. If there's an issue, one of our four supervisors or John can help.

    Injuries

An athletic trainer is on site all day Saturday. Coaches or refs can call John or ask at the tent and the trainer will come to you.

    Sportsmanship

We expect good sportsmanship from every player, coach and parent.

    Jerseys

If your player needs a jersey, your coach picks it up and has it for you at game time.

    Mouthguards

    Strongly recommended for every player.

    How matchups work

Matchups come out every week and are set to keep games competitive. Week 1 pairs new coaches with new coaches and experienced with experienced.
